About Specialized Granite Indy
Specialized Granite Indy is a small, family-owned and operated business local to Indianapolis. We design, fabricate, and install custom countertops for residential and commercial properties. Customers typically request kitchen, bathroom, outdoor living spaces, and indoor wall and hearth facades are becoming very popular.
Our expertise stems from 20 years of practice in cutting and installing granite. Ernesto started his granite career as a fabricator (cutter and polisher). He learned the trade completely. He co-owned a business with his brother’s family business from 2008 to 2012. Then in 2012 we opened our doors at Specialized Granite Indy in Broad Ripple at 146th street. After four years of our business growing, we had the wonderful problem of out-growing our space! We moved to a large warehouse at our current location at 1101 S. Emerson Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46230. This allowed us to expand based on the demand from our customers. We upgraded with a new Show Room in 2018!
Ernesto is the President and Manager and leads the operation with the utmost work ethic, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Lisa, Ernesto’s wife and the Vice President, takes care of behind the scene administrative tasks. We have a team of 13 people from admin, to saw operators, to polishers, and installers. The company supports two main local organizations: The Indianapolis Zoo as Conservation Club Donors, and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. We want to give back to our community providing well-rounded experiences for everyone.
Ernesto and Lisa Perez are entrepreneurs living in Fishers, IN. Ernesto has 20+ years’ experience in granite fabrication and installation. Lisa’s career has spanned from environmental conservation efforts to hospitality and travel. Having lived in foreign countries and experienced how integral entertainment and home hospitality is in all cultures, we want to offer the functionality and refinement of granite, quarts, and marble countertops to locals of greater Indianapolis, including Fishers, Carmel, Westfield, Greenwood, Avon, Plainfield, Fortville, and McCordsville. They envision the business growing to be the most sough-after granite countertop company in the area. Ernesto and Lisa have two beloved children and enjoy family time, outdoor activities, soccer, piano, singing in choir, and hosting parties with friends. Contact Us! We look forward to working with you.
Choosing the Best Specialized Granite and Marble Installations Company for Your Home or Business in Indiana
There are many granite, marble and quartz installations companies who will claim to “be the best” or “be the #1 company for specialty countertops” but there is only one Specialized Granite Indy. SGI stands out from competitors in so many ways. How, exactly? Let us count the ways…
- Family owed, family values. SGI is family-owned and operated. We care about our reputation and our standing in the business industry as much as the community. Every time we install a countertop, we are focused on aesthetic outcome as much as the quality of our work and customer satisfaction. We know each of our clients personally and treat each project as if it were our family’s own project. That’s how much we care about our customers.
- Gorgeous Showroom. SGI has a showroom that offers customers the opportunity to touch and feel different stone options. We offer customers the option of coming into our beautiful showroom to see in-person what each stone looks and feels like. Concerned about a health issue, or simply wanting to avoid traffic? No problem, we can do virtual consultations from our showroom!
